Why that is the answer
Large vehicles need extra room when turning at junctions and may swing out to the right before turning left. Never attempt to overtake or squeeze past them while they are manoeuvring, as they could cut across your path or block the road. Stay well back and give the driver plenty of time and space to complete the turn safely, following guidance from the Highway Code.
