Why that is the answer
Large vehicles such as lorries need extra time and space to manoeuvre, especially when turning, reversing, or emerging from junctions. You should slow down and prepare to stop to give them the room they need to clear the hazard safely. Flashing your headlights is unsafe because other road users might misinterpret your signal. Stay patient and hold back until the road ahead is completely clear.
