Most learners take Full Membership because the resit and the cancellation checking pay for themselves. If you have already booked your test yourself, take the cancellation service or the books on their own.

Theory test FAQs
What is the theory test pass mark?
You need 43 out of 50 on the multiple-choice section and 44 out of 75 on hazard perception, and you have to reach both in the same sitting. Miss one and you retake the whole test, not just the half you failed.
How much does the theory test cost?
The DVSA car theory test fee is £23. Our Full Membership is £49 and covers booking your test, one resit with no minimum mark, cancellation checking on both theory and practical tests, and the Learning Hub.
Do I get a free resit if I fail?
Full Membership includes one resit and there is no minimum mark you have to hit to qualify for it. If the day goes badly, we rebook you rather than asking you to buy the service again.
Can you get me an earlier theory test date?
Our cancellation checker watches the centres you choose and texts you when a slot is released. We cannot invent dates that do not exist, but people cancel constantly and checking around the clock finds slots that a manual search misses.
How long is a theory test pass valid for?
Two years from the date you pass. If you have not passed the practical test in that window you sit the theory again, and the DVSA does not grant extensions, so it is worth booking practical lessons early.
Is the practice on this site free?
Yes. All 694 practice questions, both mock tests and every guide on this site are free to use. You only pay if you want us to book your test, watch for cancellations or send you the book pack.
