From the moment you're booked, the cancellation checker included in Full Membership starts monitoring your chosen test centres for earlier openings, and can watch several at once. If something suitable comes up, you'll get a text straight away so you can move on it before it's taken again.
Step 5: Sit your test
On the day, you'll sit both the multiple-choice and hazard perception sections in one appointment, since both have to be passed together to get an overall pass. Bring your provisional licence, as the DVSA requires photo ID to let you sit the test.
Step 6: Pass, or resit at no extra cost
If you pass, your certificate is valid for two years, which is the window you have to also pass your practical test.
