A rectangular blue sign featuring a white line topped with a red bar notifies you of a no through road ahead. It shows that the road is a dead end and you cannot drive through to another destination. Do not confuse this rectangular information sign with red circular prohibition signs, or blue circular signs that give mandatory instructions. Recognising road signs quickly helps you plan your route safely.
How this comes up in the real test
