A triangular warning sign featuring an adult and child walking alerts you that pedestrians may be in the road ahead, often because there is no pavement. The Highway Code uses red triangles to warn of hazards, allowing you time to slow down and prepare to pass safely. Do not confuse this sign with those for pedestrian crossings or school children, which warn of specific places where people cross.
How this comes up in the real test
