Why that is the answer
You must only use your horn while stationary if another road user poses a danger to you or others. For example, you may sound it if a reversing vehicle is about to hit you. The Highway Code strictly forbids using the horn to attract attention, signal your arrival, or vent frustration when the road is blocked, regardless of how brief the beep might be.
How this comes up in the real test
