Why that is the answer
The Highway Code shows that blue circular signs give mandatory instructions. A tram symbol inside a blue circle indicates a route reserved exclusively for trams. Other traffic must not use or enter this lane. It does not mean parking, nor does it apply to buses, which are represented by a distinct bus symbol. Drivers must keep these routes clear because trams run on fixed tracks and cannot steer around obstacles.
How this comes up in the real test
