Why that is the answer
A driver rotates their right arm in an anticlockwise circular motion out of the window to show they intend to turn left. This arm signal is used if indicators fail or to clarify intentions to traffic controllers. Extending the right arm straight out indicates a right turn, while waving an extended arm up and down means slowing down. Recognizing these standard Highway Code signals allows you to anticipate other road users safely.
