You have driven through a patch of fog but this has now cleared. What should you now do with your front fog lights?

Why that is the answer

You must switch off your fog lights as soon as visibility improves. Leaving them on when the road is clear is illegal because high-intensity lights dazzle other road users and can obscure your brake lights. Flashing your fog lights or keeping them on just because other drivers do is unsafe. The Highway Code states you must only use fog lights when visibility is seriously reduced, which generally means less than 100 metres.

How this comes up in the real test
