Horse riders are vulnerable road users who often stay in the left lane at roundabouts for safety, even when signalling to turn right. You should give them plenty of room and hold back until they have cleared the junction. Do not sound your horn or try to overtake them, as sudden noises or close passes can easily startle a horse.
