It helps to know exactly what happens after you sign up, rather than guessing what a membership actually involves. The process is straightforward: we book your test, give you somewhere structured to revise, watch for earlier dates in the background, and stand behind you with a resit if the first attempt doesn't go to plan. None of this replaces the DVSA, who set and mark the test itself. What we do is handle the admin and revision structure around it, so your time goes into actually preparing rather than working out how the booking system works. ## Step 1: Sign up and give us your details You'll need your provisional driving licence number to hand, since this is required for any theory test booking. We'll also ask about your preferred test centres and rough timeframe, so we can find a booking that actually fits your schedule rather than the first available slot regardless of location. ## Step 2: We book your test Once we have your details, we book your DVSA car theory test, subject to availability at your chosen centres. The DVSA's own £23 fee is paid as part of this booking, as that goes directly to them for running and marking the test. You'll get confirmation of your date, time and centre once it's locked in. ## Step 3: Revise through the Learning Hub With Full Membership you get ongoing access to our Theory Learning Hub, covering the full official question bank alongside hazard perception practice and mock tests set up to mirror the real format: 50 multiple-choice questions in 57 minutes, followed by 14 hazard perception clips. Working through this at a steady pace rather than cramming in the final week tends to get the best results. ## Step 4: We watch for earlier dates From the moment you're booked, the cancellation checker included in Full Membership starts monitoring your chosen test centres for earlier openings, and can watch several at once. If something suitable comes up, you'll get a text straight away so you can move on it before it's taken again. ## Step 5: Sit your test On the day, you'll sit both the multiple-choice and hazard perception sections in one appointment, since both have to be passed together to get an overall pass. Bring your provisional licence, as the DVSA requires photo ID to let you sit the test. ## Step 6: Pass, or resit at no extra cost If you pass, your certificate is valid for two years, which is the window you have to also pass your practical test. If you don't pass, let us know your result and we'll get your included resit booked, with no minimum mark needed to qualify.
