A calmer centre than the nearby cities, but the rural sections catch people out on speed and positioning.. Nelson: dual carriageway slip roads, town-centre one-way loop and quiet crescents for manoeuvres. Multi-lane roundabouts appear more than once, so plan two junctions ahead.. Preston: city streets, dual carriageway and rural fringe.
