That works brilliantly for some people and is completely impractical for anyone who cannot take a week off. A semi-intensive course keeps the same structured plan and the same block-booked hours, but delivers them across two or three sessions a week over a few weeks. You still finish with mock tests and test-route practice. The rate of progress is the thing people notice. Weekly one-hour lessons mean forgetting between sessions; three sessions a week means each one starts where the last finished. ## How the schedule usually looks A typical shape is three two-hour sessions a week for four to six weeks, though evenings and weekends work just as well as weekdays. We build the plan backwards from your practical test date where you already have one, so the mock tests land in the final week rather than halfway through. If you do not have a test date yet, we advise on when to book based on how the first block goes rather than guessing up front. ## Semi-intensive vs intensive vs weekly lessons Intensive is fastest and suits people with a hard deadline and a clear diary — but it is a demanding week and there is no time for private practice to bed anything in. Weekly lessons are the most flexible and the slowest, and usually the most expensive per skill learned because of the re-warming time at the start of every session.
